UAB Women's Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
Providing advanced medical and surgical treatments for complicated and complex gynecology
including the treatment of pelvic floor disorders and incontinence.
UAB Gynecologic Oncology
North and Central Alabama's gynecologic oncology specialists for the management
of precancerous and cancerous disorders of the female reproductive tract, including:
cervical, endometrial, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancers.
UAB High Risk Obstetrics
Offering the most advanced diagnostic services and treatments for women with special
pregnancy concerns including advanced age, multiple fetus, diabetes, and complicated

Maternity Evaluation Unit (MEU)
The new Maternity Evaluation Unit (MEU) is a convenient drop-off and first-stop to
evaluate patients pregnant 16 weeks or more, or those referred directly by their doctor.
Patients with pregnancy-related complications or illnesses or those who may be in labor
should use the new entrance.
